My goal is to compete in an Ironman distance race sometime in the next year or so. What I am looking for is some general guideline of some benchmarks I need to be hitting for all 3 disciplines eventually to know if I am on target of reaching my goal. Fox example, should I be hitting a certain mph for long rides.
Is that indicative of a pace I would most likely be riding during an Ironman, etc.
