It's one of my "go to" local restaurants. Plenty of good choices, but if you haven't been here before, someone in your party should always order the herbed redfish. The food here is so unique-- the flavor combinations are nothing I had ever thought of and so delicious! The oxtail and fish dish and the onion mashed potatoes were so great!

The cheese plate was also awesome- chocolate, wine biscuits, and home made jam paired with 3 different unique cheeses. I also highly recommend the pimms cup- best that I have had in New Orleans and I have tried them everywhere!

This place is such a refreshing surprise. The food and service is excellent. Very creative menu. I like to eat lunch here when I travel Uptown.

People don't have this kind of knowledge today, even though it seems as fundamental as the earth, and, it's true, those who have it tend to be professionals -- like chefs.
