Arrange this on the baking sheets, being careful to space them well apart, and squash them down a little. Bake them for minutes, or until golden. Remove them from the oven and leave to cool for a few minutes on the trays, before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Using a pastry brush, paint the biscuit with a different colour of chocolate on each side. You could also choose to drizzle lashings of chocolate over each biscuit. Transfer the biscuits onto a wire rack and allow them to set before serving.
Ah, the humble banana bread.
By adding a sinfully delicious chocolate drizzle before topping it off with some sliced banana, this loaf is a modern take on an old school classic. Beat the butter and sugar until smooth 2.

Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites 3. These delightful little Spiced Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes will bring a smile to the faces of all who see and eat them! Lightly spiced chocolate cakes are decorated with vanilla buttercream to look like mini Christmas Trees, and are suitably decorated with stars and edible lustred pearls. The cakes can me made ahead of time and then frozen before decorating nearer the time or on the day.
These also make wonderful and fun gifts for family and friends - just pop them in a cake box and add a BIG ribbon for BIG smiles! A Christmas Tree! A Christmas tree! With dark green needled memories Of childhood dreams and mysteries Wrapped present-like in front of me. I glimpse a past wherein i see The child that then grew into me Not forward fast but haltingly. When twelfth night comes whole hauntingly One lingered look and then i see No Christmas tree where it would be. With feelings now felt longingly No corner in my house to see The magic of that Christmas tree.
SUCH a cute idea! I love these — definitely going to make them for our Christmas Eve party. I loved making them and we ALL loved eating them! They do make a lovely display for the Christmas tea time table! These are adorable and I love that you made them with a hint of spice as well — so perfect at this time of year!
Thanks Jude, they would be huge fun to make with C and the spices can be left out for little ones! Karen I do love your way over the top cakes that are so fun and cheerful. These have certainly put a smile on my face.
And how clever of you to get them into three challenges too. These definitely have to go on the list — love the green icing! Thanks Sarah — fun and pretty tasty too….. These are just adorable! Oh WOW! These are such beautiful cakes! These are beautiful. So Christmassy, think I might have to give them a go and see what the office thinks. Thanks so much! I am sure the office would love these brought in before the Christmas party!
Adorably edible. Love the spices. You are very artistic. My version would look like the cat decorated them. He is quite talented though, so maybe not ;D. These sound delicious. I have been experimenting with putting a little jrat into my chocolate cake with something other than ginger, I have come close but the best I think I have managed so far is by heating the frosting, rather than putting it into the cake, the sweetness seems to make getting the balance right much easier.
Oh my! They look yummy!
